Amanda has been fortunate enough to have lived in beautiful rural locations all over the UK and abroad, before returning and settling, in the heart of the Trossachs, near the stunning Lake of Menteith.These inspirational surroundings, the fauna and flora plus Amanda's love of design were instrumental in her undertaking a BA in Art and Design specialising in Site Specific Design. The last few years have been spent gaining invaluable retail experience and studying Horticulture at The Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh. On completion of the course and following the purchase of a neighbouring barn and field, Amanda is delighted to put into practise what she loves, has learnt and experienced by opening Green Pea Studio...

I have always been interested in gardening and interior design, so have spent many happy hours browsing in antique auction rooms, looking for interesting objects, especially handmade and old pieces looking for a new lease of life.Green Pea Studio has enabled me to offer some, unique, unusual and interesting pieces that sit comfortably in a traditional or contemporary home and garden.

Green Pea Workshops
Floristry On The Wild Side...I feel what works in nature inspires what works in a vase - therefore each floral workshop does covers basic floristry techniques, but more importantly works with the flowers' natural beauty, colour and form to create simple and elegant arrangements. The floral workshops also cover the principles of design, looking at form, function, colour and proportion.
Ultimately my floral courses give the opportunity to look at flowers with fresh eyes in an informal and relaxed environment.
